Plans have been announced for next year’s Tour de France multiple-stage cycle race.
The 112th edition of the event, known as the ‘Grand Tour’, will take place between 5 July and 27 July 2025.
It will begin in Lille and end in Paris, the fiftieth anniversary of its first finish there, and it will feature 21 stages and cover a distance of 3,320 kilometres.
It will take place exclusively in France for the first time since 2020.
The race director, Christian Prudhomme, stated:
“We decided to bring the tour home, it was high time after all the foreign starts.”
The Women’s Tour de France will take place between 26 July and 3 August 2025 and will add a ninth stage.
All very exciting to look forward to!
