Lausanne, 19 October 2026 – This is a procedural update regarding the decision for the appeal by the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF, in French) against the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF, in French). The hearing took place behind closed doors at CAS headquarters, in Lausanne, on Thursday 8 October 2026.
The Panel have begun and continue their deliberations. The CAS arbitrators have decided to issue a complete ruling which includes legal grounds, known as a CAS Award. This process will require several weeks, with the CAS Award expected at the end of November 2026.

INFORMATIONS SUR LA PROCÉDURE DU TAS CONCERNANT LA FINALE DE LA CAN 2025
Lausanne, le 19 octobre 2026 – Ceci est une mise à jour de l’information concernant la décision relative à l’appel interjeté par la Fédération sénégalaise de football (FSF) contre la Confédération africaine de football (CAF) et la Fédération royale marocaine de football (FRMF). L’audience s’est tenue le 8 octobre 2026, au siège du TAS à Lausanne, en Suisse, à huis clos.
La Formation arbitrale a entamé ses délibérations et les poursuit actuellement. Les arbitres du TAS ont décidé de rendre une décision complète, comprenant les motifs juridiques, appelée «sentence du TAS». Ce processus prendra plusieurs semaines et la sentence du TAS est attendue fin novembre 2026.
