The CAS has launched an inaugural education programme designed to provide a practical and comprehensive introduction to sports arbitration.

The CAS Summer Academy is a week-long, virtual course where participants will learn about the mechanics of sport dispute resolution, key areas of CAS jurisprudence and about the structure and operations of major sports institutions. The programme will exclusively be taught by CAS counsels and leading CAS arbitrators who are highly regarded as experts in their field.

The CAS Summer Academy will take place online from 6-10 July 2026 with 4-5 hours of daily participation. Sessions will be conducted in English and will combine presentations with interactive exchanges.

The CAS Academy is aimed towards students and legal practitioners. Whilst no advanced experience in international arbitration or sports law is required, it is necessary to have a foundational knowledge in law for the course to be beneficial.
