It has been announced that Kylian Mbappe will move to Real Madrid after his contract with Paris St-Germain expires on 30 June 2024.
Mbappe, who is 25 years old, will earn €15 million per season, and will also receive a signing on bonus of €150 million, to be paid over 5 years, as well as retaining a percentage of his valuable image rights.
Eye-watering, if not obscene, sums of money!
He described the move as “a dream come true” and added that he was:
“So happy and proud to join the club of my dreams.”
Real Madrid won La Liga and also the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.
Mbappe leaves the French club as its record goal scorer: 256 goals since he joined in 2017!
