World Cups in women’s football and men’s rugby union football, as well as women’s and men’s Ashes cricket series.
England and Ireland’s women compete in the cricket T20 World Cup and there are also World Athletics and Net Ball Championships.
There are also inaugural World Cycling Championships.
And back-to-back Solheim and Ryder Cups golf competitions.
